NJ Gov Murphy has rung a bell that went too far with me. Everything in NJ is ridiculous. The Trumpers living in a Democratic state, the issues that include INFLATION, INFRASTRUCTURE and the STATE FRAUD that goes into that, the bullshit of property taxes and schools and now NJ is being plagued by crime. This guy does not know how to govern when the criminals are minority Democrats he does not want to alienate.

Having said that I am totally against giving #BRUCESPRINGSTEEN a state holiday. What has the guy done to deserve this “honor” ? Absolutely nothing. What he has done – cheated on both wives frequently, driven drunk, stoned and got small tickets under $100 bucks, gives long boring 3-4 hour concerts because he’s DA BOSS, has the worst voice in the world next to DYLAN and wrote the same shitty song for 60 years. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH PEOPLE!!!

In the 65 years as an “entertainer” he has been arrested several times for Drunk driving, drinking under the influence of illegal substances (POT), cheated on his wife and wrote the same song for 60 years. He made one good album. He is 70 Plus years old. If I want to go see old men playing rock I’ll go to a STONE CONCERT.

WHat about BONJOVI? Doesn’t he deserve a state holiday? He has a restaurant where people who are poor can go and pay what they want. If they got no $ they get a free meal. Did Springsteen do that? NOPE.

THEN, TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, GOV MURPHY MADE SPRINGSTEEN’S BIRTHDAY THE DAY – MY BIRTHDAY AND HIS ARE THE SAME – SEPT 23. WHERE’S MY STATE HOLIDAY?

BS (bruce springsteen) has done nothing for nobody – he should Never be celebrated as a hero. You got a tin ear if you think he’s a legend. Debbie Harry of BLONDIE comes from NJ, Pattie Smith too – where’s their national Holiday? I’m not even from NJ I’m displaced from NYC – is this clownboy serious?

Springsteen wanted to be the first band on MTV and he bumped my partners band CANDY APPLE from doing just that without a glance backwards. He did that twice with CANDY APPLE when he scooped up the music spot on a VIETNAM VET’S CONCERT. He’s a rat fink.

His own wife Pattie is a better singer and songwriter than he is any day of the week that ends in a WHY!?

I’m not chuffed that’s for sure and now #jodiecomer is walking around NYC with a STONE PONY ASBURY PARK BLACK TEE ON?

Bruce Springsteen gets his own holiday in New Jersey

I’m sorry if some of you like him – he looks like an ex convict to me.

Rock n’ Roll legend Bruce Springsteen is getting his own holiday in his native state of New Jersey.

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) made the announcement on Saturday, saying in a social media post that September 23, the birthday of the legendary artist, will be known as “Bruce Springsteen Day.”

“Bruce Springsteen is one of the most iconic and influential musicians – and New Jerseyans – of all time, period,” Murphy wrote in a tweet.

“And so, I am both honored and proud to announce @springsteen‘s birthday, Sept. 23, will officially be known as Bruce Springsteen Day in the Garden State.”

The news comes as the “Born in the U.S.A.” singer received the National Medal of Arts recognition from President Biden last month, being one of the 23 individuals being recognized with the National Medal of Arts and the National Humanities Medal.

Other honorees of the National Medal of Arts recipients included actors Mindy Kaling and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, entertainer Gladys Knight and fashion designer Vera Wang. The honorees were actually named the award recipients in 2021 but the event was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Previous recipients of the National Medal of Arts have included actors Morgan Freeman, Sally Field, and Meryl Streep, author Stephen King, and filmmaker George Lucas.
